About Me
Lets see, where to start. My first name is Michael and I live in the greater Los Angeles area in southern California. I’m a Web Programmer, a Database Administrator, a Systems Architect, and an all around electronics wizard. I’ve been working with computers for over 20 years and been programming in various languages for 15. Currently I focus on web application programming and web site design and development for small companies. I’m a wiz at (x)HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, Javascript, and many other letters of the alphabet as well.
You could call me a freelancer, but that would not be accurate. I am the Vice President of TechLive Now, an up and coming IT Service and Support company. After so many years in the industry, I was appauled by the number of con artists there were preying on the computer illiterate. As the years went on it seemed to become worse. As the number of casual PC users increased, so did the number of sharks waiting in the gloom. One day a few of us were sitting together brainstorming about what ever came to mind. We all shared similar sentiments about the state of professional help that’s available for reasonable prices. That was when the notion was born, and shortly after TechLive Now was formed. We are a small group of IT Professionals who decided to change the face of personal and small business technical support. But this blog is not about TLN so please go there to find out more information.
